Armani Diamonds Alternative: Meet No02, Our Sparkling Fruity-Floral Eau de Parfum
Share
If you love a scent that opens with a burst of fruit and settles into something warm and glamorous, you have probably come across the designer fragrance that inspired our No02. It is one of those perfumes that seems to follow a person into the room before they do: bright, a little bit flirty, and unmistakably confident. We built No02 for anyone who loves that idea but does not love the price tag that usually comes with it.
What Does No02 Actually Smell Like?
No02 opens with juicy raspberry and lychee, the kind of fruity top note that feels playful rather than sickly sweet. As it settles, jasmine and soft florals come through in the heart, giving it a rounder, more grown-up feel. The base is where it gets interesting: warm amber and a gentle musk that give the scent staying power without becoming heavy. It is fruity-floral in the truest sense, sparkling at first spray and cosy by the time it dries down.
We describe it as an alternative to the designer scent it is inspired by because that is exactly what it is. We are not claiming to be an identical copy, molecule for molecule. What we have done is study the fragrance families and key notes people love about the original, then recreate that feeling using our own blend, made by hand in the UK.
Who Is No02 For?
This one suits anyone who wants a scent for everyday wear, not just special occasions. It works just as well with a Tuesday morning coffee run as it does under a party dress. If you already own a bottle of the designer original and love it, No02 is a brilliant way to have a backup you are not afraid to spray liberally. If you have never tried the original but like the sound of raspberry, lychee and warm amber, this is a lovely place to start.
It also makes a genuinely nice gift. At under £15 for the 50ml bottle, you can pick up No02 alongside a card and still spend less than a single designer sample set.
An Honest Look at the Trade-Offs
We would rather tell you the truth than oversell this. Inspired-by fragrances like No02 use a different concentration and blend of ingredients to the designer original, so while the character of the scent is very close, it is not a perfect one-to-one match. Projection and longevity are good for the price point, roughly four to six hours on skin, but if you have worn premium designer eau de parfum for years, you may notice the difference in complexity, particularly a few hours in.
What you are trading for that difference is significant: you are paying a fraction of the price, you can wear it every day without worrying about running out, and you are supporting a small, family-run business rather than a name that outsources most of its own manufacturing anyway. For a lot of our customers, that trade-off is an easy one to make.
How to Get the Most Out of No02
- Spray onto pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) where body heat helps the fragrance develop properly.
- Layer it with an unscented moisturiser first. Fragrance lasts longer on hydrated skin.
- Keep the bottle away from direct sunlight and bathroom humidity to protect the scent over time.
- Pair it with our matching candles or reed diffusers if you want the same fragrance family filling your home as well as following you out the door.
Where to Try It
You can find No02 in both 50ml and 100ml, or browse the full perfume collection to see how it sits alongside our other inspired-by scents. Every bottle is made by hand here in the UK, and if it is not right for you, our team is always happy to help you find a better match.
