Raspberry Wave Wax Melt: Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream Rippled With Juicy Raspberry
Share
Raspberry Wave is one of those scents that people smell once and immediately want in their home. It comes from our Summer Escape Collection, but do not let that fool you into thinking it is only for July. A sweet, creamy scent like this is just as welcome on a grey October afternoon, when a little reminder of sunshine goes a long way.
What does Raspberry Wave smell like?
Think of a smooth swirl of creamy vanilla ice cream, rippled with bright summer fruit. Sweet vanilla and juicy raspberry melt together into a fresh, delicious wave of scent.
- Raspberry brings a juicy, slightly tangy brightness.
- Vanilla ice cream softens it into something creamy, comforting and indulgent.
It sits in the gourmand family, the group of fragrances that smell good enough to eat, but the raspberry stops it from becoming heavy. It is sweet and fun rather than rich and sticky.
About the Summer Escape Collection
Summer Escape is our celebration of warm days, soft florals and irresistible sweetness. From delicate cherry blossom and clean powdery notes to creamy raspberry treats and radiant solar warmth, the collection is designed to bring back those sunshine-filled moments and coastal escapes. Raspberry Wave is the most playful of the bunch, the ice cream van moment of the whole range.
Why a wax melt?
Wax melts are one of the easiest and most affordable ways to fill a room with fragrance, and they are perfect for a scent like Raspberry Wave that you might want to dial up or down depending on your mood.
- A 50g bar with 6 easy-to-snap segments, so you control the strength.
- Up to 50 to 60 hours of total fragrance from one bar.
- 100% natural soy wax, blended with high-quality fragrance oils.
- Maximum fragrance load for a strong scent throw.
- Works in ceramic and electric burners.
- Vegan, cruelty free and handmade in the UK.
At £3.99 a bar, it is a very easy way to try a new scent without committing to a big product.
How to use it
- Snap off one or two segments and place them in your ceramic or electric wax melt burner.
- Do not add water. Wax melts are used on their own.
- Let the wax melt and release its fragrance.
- When the scent fades, the wax has done its job. Let it cool, pop it out and replace it with fresh segments.
One segment gives a gentle background scent in a small room. Two or three is better for a living room or open-plan kitchen. Start with less, as sweet scents can build quickly.
Where it works best
- Kitchens and dining areas. It complements the room rather than fighting it, and is lovely after a meal.
- Living rooms on dull days. A small, cheerful lift when the weather is grim.
- Teenagers' rooms and dens. Sweet, fruity scents are often a firm favourite.
As always, never leave a burner unattended, and keep it on a stable, heat-proof surface away from children and pets.
The honest bit
Raspberry Wave is a sweet scent, and that is its whole personality. If you lean towards fresh, clean or woody fragrances, it may feel too sugary for everyday use. Some people like to mix it with a single segment of a cleaner scent to balance it out. Wax melts also need some care: tealight burners can get hot and the wax can scorch if left too long, which dulls the fragrance. Electric burners give a gentler, more even melt if you use wax melts regularly.
More ways to enjoy it
If you fall for Raspberry Wave, it is also available as a candle in a tin, reed diffuser, room spray, carpet sprinkles and fragrance oil. A popular combination is the reed diffuser for steady daytime scent and the wax melt for an evening top-up.
Every Raspberry Wave wax melt is made by hand by our family-run team in Glossop. Shop the Raspberry Wave Wax Melt or browse all of our wax melts.
